Dr. Khalil Diab
Dr. Khalil Diab is a dedicated pulmonary and critical care physician and an inspiring advocate for resilience in healthcare. He graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 2002 and completed his medical training in the United States. Dr. Diab practiced at Indiana University in Indianapolis as a pulmonary and critical care specialist until 2018.
In 2018, he returned to Lebanon as an Associate Professor at the Lebanese American University (LAU), where he worked tirelessly to contribute to medical education and healthcare development. Following the tragic Beirut explosion in 2020, Dr. Diab relocated to Washington, D.C., where he currently practices at The George Washington University.
Driven by his passion for highlighting the exceptional work of Lebanese healthcare professionals, Dr. Diab created The Lebanese Physicians Podcast. Through this platform, he sheds light on the resilience and remarkable contributions of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare workers in and outside Lebanon, even amidst challenging circumstances.
