ILMA-USA’s scholarship and research programs are a cornerstone of our mission to strengthen Lebanon’s healthcare system through education and innovation.
Through the ILMA-DMV Chapter Scholarship Fund, we help aspiring physicians cover the cost of the USMLE exam — a critical step toward earning medical licensure.
In addition, the ILMA–KU Fellowship Program — the first of its kind in the United States — offers top Lebanese medical graduates the opportunity to launch research careers at a leading institution, fostering expertise that will benefit Lebanon and the global medical community.
During the ILMA 2025 Conference, we expanded our reach by awarding 42 scholarships and 5 research grants to students proudly nominated by Lebanon’s eight medical schools. Looking ahead, we are working to establish a permanent endowment to ensure these opportunities remain available for generations to come.
