The ILMA-DMV (International Lebanese Medical Association – DC, Maryland, Virginia Chapter) is pleased to support Lebanese medical students through this scholarship initiative.
Understanding the challenges posed by the ongoing economic crisis in Lebanon, we are committed to providing assistance where it is most needed.
One of our primary objectives is to help alleviate the financial burden associated with the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) for Lebanese medical students who aspire to pursue their medical careers in the United States but face financial constraints.
To support this goal, the ILMA-DMV Chapter has raised funds to sponsor USMLE exam fees for deserving students who may otherwise be unable to afford them. We firmly believe that financial limitations should not stand in the way of your ambitions.
This year, we will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to 40 Lebanese medical students.

Criteria for Applying: Lebanese medical students currently in Med 3, Med 4, or PGY-1, with a USMLE Step Exam (Step 1, Step 2, or Step 3) scheduled before April 1, 2027.
