Our role
This committee promotes academic, educational, and research collaboration between the USA and Lebanon. They organize conferences and webinars, select qualified speakers, advise on academic policies, and publish medical articles. They work closely with various medical schools, societies, and governmental entities to enhance medical education and research.

Our role
This committee connects trainees, medical students, and research fellows in the US and supports their advancement. They link Lebanon-based trainees with their US counterparts, assist unmatched students through the SOAP process, and promote discussions and research among residents. They also highlight the research achievements of trainees.

Our role
This committee focuses on building connections with Lebanese medical students and providing them with resources and support for their medical careers. They organize webinars on crucial topics such as writing CVs and the visa process, help students with electives and observerships, and sponsor mentorship programs.

Our role
The Financial Committee of ILMA USA plays a crucial role in overseeing the organization’s financial operations. This includes approving revenues and expenses, preparing biannual financial reports, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations. The committee also secures financing resources for ILMA USA’s activities and maintains transparency in all transactions. Additionally, it facilitates coordination and communication with other committees and chapters within the organization.

ILMA Adviser provides doctors with resources to explore the non-clinical aspects of their profession, covering practice management tools, financial advice including taxes and investments, and addressing personal wellbeing concerns such as coping with burnout and managing hobbies. Through ILMA Adviser, doctors access support for both their professional and personal development.

The Media Committee is responsible for promoting ILMA projects through various social media platforms. Acting as a bridge between the organization, the public, and the media, the committee ensures ILMA remains visible and relevant. This involves managing inquiries from journalists, drafting press releases, and cultivating media interest in the organization’s stories and campaigns.
