During the Gala, the ILMA Foundation Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Bassam A. Atiyeh in recognition of his distinguished career in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology, his commitment to medical education, and more than four decades of clinical excellence and community service.
Art with a Purpose
The Gala’s live art auction featured original works by distinguished Lebanese artists Marwan Chamaa, a contemporary pop artist who combines iconic Western pop culture with vibrant Middle Eastern themes, and Ray Khalife, a fine art painter known for his Cedar Collection, celebrating one of Lebanon’s most meaningful and enduring symbols. Bringing together creativity, generosity, and philanthropy, the auction gave guests an opportunity to support Lebanese medical students through the ILMA-DMV Student Scholarship Fund.
An Evening of Music & Celebration
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed dinner, memorable performances, and moments of friendship and celebration. Alex Wakim welcomed guests with a special musical prelude, Yara Chami performed the national anthems of the United States and Lebanon, and Sarney Bejjani & the Band brought energy to the celebration and open dance floor.
