ILMA USA

Meeting with Dr. Bizri

Dr. Bizri is a long time friend to ILMA Since he was the head of the COVID task force in Lebanon.

Dr. Bizri is currently a member of the lebanese parliament and continues to work to support the Lebanese public health.

Our meeting discussion focused on the current healthcare crisis in Lebanon and the avenues that ILMA can help address through our expertise and connections. Providing remote lectures and presentations to the Lebanese medical students can be crucial to the future of healthcare providers.

We discuss the importance of the international support to rebuild the healthcare in Lebanon.

ILMAUSA is deeply concerned about the ongoing crisis in Lebanon and is committed to supporting the country during these challenging times. To address urgent and future needs, the ILMAUSA National Board has formed a crisis unit focusing on three key areas: a Resource Team to manage medication and supply requests, a Human Resources Team offering virtual support through telehealth services, and an Educational Committee providing essential training for crisis response. ILMAUSA encourages donations to support relief efforts—donations can be made directly to the Lebanese Red Cross using This Link: https://bit.ly/LRC-ILMA-USA. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.

ILMA USA met with the Lebanese Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Abiad, to discuss the urgent medical needs in Lebanon due to the ongoing crisis. ILMA USA is committed to supporting relief efforts by providing critical medical supplies and expanding healthcare capacity.
