We delve into the planning phases, the day of the surgery, and the post-surgical follow-up of the twins. Then, we talk about the resilience of the physicians and healthcare workers still being able to perform complex surgeries despite the unstable economic and political situation in Lebanon.

ILMAUSA is deeply concerned about the ongoing crisis in Lebanon and is committed to supporting the country during these challenging times. To address urgent and future needs, the ILMAUSA National Board has formed a crisis unit focusing on three key areas: a Resource Team to manage medication and supply requests, a Human Resources Team offering virtual support through telehealth services, and an Educational Committee providing essential training for crisis response.
